Rick Davies, Supertramp Co-Founder and Voice Behind 'Goodbye Stranger,' Dies at 81

Rick Davies, Supertramp’s co-founder, singer, and keyboardist, has died at 81 after a long battle with multiple myeloma. The Swindon-born musician, who shaped the band’s sound with his Wurlitzer piano and baritone voice, died at home in East Hampton, New York. Davies co-led Supertramp through global success, including the Grammy-winning 'Breakfast in America.' He is survived by his wife, Sue.
